HBO: "Role didn't align on set"

An HBO spokesperson said that once filming began it became clear the character Mike White had created for Bonham Carter "did not align" during production. The network added the role is being rewritten and will be recast in the coming weeks, and that producers and White regret not getting to work with the actress this season while hoping to collaborate with her on a future project.
