Mom instincts on display

As a mother of three — Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (11) and Prince Louis (8) — Kate's easy rapport with children is familiar. The family recently marked their 15th wedding anniversary with a new Cornwall photo by Matt Porteous that also featured their cocker spaniel Orla and a brown puppy whose name has not been publicly revealed.

Tender moments and travel plans

The visit followed another touching interaction on April 25 outside Westminster Abbey, when Kate knelt and shook hands with two boys at an Anzac Day service. She has also announced her first overseas work engagement since her cancer diagnosis; she was reported in remission in early 2025 and will travel to Reggio Emilia, Italy, on May 13–14 for a fact-finding trip on early childhood.
